Nevada County is a United States county located in the United States of Arkansas. As of 2000 the population was 9955. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 9157, It is the 11th smallest county by population in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The county has a total area of 620.78 mi˛ (1607.81 sq km), of which, 619.95 square miles (1605.66 sq km) of it is land and 0.83 square miles (2.15 sq km) of it is water, it is the 24th smallest in terms of geographical size.
