Neptune City Borough is a borough located in the Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of 2000 the population was 5218. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 5114, making it the 277th most populous in New Jersey. The borough comprises an area of 0.91 mi˛ (2.36 sq km), it is the 69th smallest in terms of geographical size.
