Nenana City is a city in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska, United States. In 2000, the population was 402. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 344, It is Alaska's 127th largest by population . The city comprises an area of 6.09 mi˛ (15.77 sq km), of which, 6.04 square miles (15.64 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, it is the 75th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 402 people, 171 households, and 87 families living in the city. The population density was 66.6 people per square mile (25.71/km˛), it is Alaska's 87th most densely populated city. There were 210 housing units at an average density of 34.8 per square mile (13.44/km˛). The average household size was 2.35 persons, and the average family size was 3.3 persons.
