Nelson Village is a one of the Buffalo County, Wisconsin, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 395 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 372, It is 98th least populous in Wisconsin. It covers total area of 1.48 mi˛ (3.83 square kilometre), of which, 1.46 square miles (3.78 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 382nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.

As of the census of 2000, there were 395 people, 76 households, and 48 families residing in the city. The population density was 270 people per square mile (104.25/km˛), it is 84th least densely populated city in Wisconsin. There were 201 housing units at an average density of 137.7 per square mile (53.17/km˛). The average household size was 2.18 and the average family size was 2.98. In the city the population was spread out, with 23.8% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 17.2% who were 65 or older.
