Nelliston Village is a one of the Montgomery County, New York, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 622 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 601, making it New York's 146th smallest. The city comprises an area of 1.19 sq mi (3.08 square kilometre), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.85 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 310th smallest by total area among New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 622 people, 257 households, and 173 families residing in the city. The population density was 565 people per square mile (218.15/kmē), making it the 203rd least densely populated city in New York. There were 281 housing units at an average density of 255.5 per square mile (98.65/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.42 persons, and the average family size was 2.91 persons.
