Nekoosa City is a city located in the Wood County, Wisconsin, United States. It is home to over 2590 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2439, giving it the 199th largest population among Wisconsin. The city comprises an area of 3.4 square miles (8.81 sq km), of which, 3.39 square miles (8.78 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 196th largest in terms of geographical size.
