As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 915, giving it the 350th largest population among Minnesota. The city comprises an area of 5.95 mi˛ (15.41 square kilometre), of which, 5.64 square miles (14.61 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.31 square miles (0.8 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 140th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
