Nashville City is a city located in the Washington County, Illinois, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3147 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 3027 in July 2008, It is the 405th largest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 2.77 sq mi (7.17 sq km), of which, 2.68 square miles (6.94 sq km) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, it is the 355th largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois.
