Narragansett Pier Cdp is one of the census designated place of Washington County, Rhode Island, located towards the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. The population of the census designated place was 3671 as per the 2000 census data. It is the sixth smallest by population in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the census designated place has a total area of 3.94 sq mi (10.2 sq km), of which, 3.62 square miles (9.38 sq km) of it is land and 0.32 square miles (0.83 sq km) of it is water, it is the 19th largest by area in the U.S. state of Rhode Island. It is ranks 13 in the size of its inland waterways in Rhode Island.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3671 people in the census designated place, organized into 1745 households, and 886 families living in the census designated place. The population density was 1013.5 people per square mile (391.31/kmē), it is Rhode Island's fifth least densely populated census designated place.
