Napili-honokowai Cdp is a census designated place located in Maui County, Hawaii, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 6788 inhabitants. It is the 33rd most populous in the U.S. state of Hawaii. It covers total area of 6.65 square miles (17.22 kmē), of which, 5.88 square miles (15.23 kmē) of it is land and 0.77 square miles (1.99 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 40th largest by total area in Hawaii.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6788 people, 2629 households, and 1469 families residing in the census designated place. The population density was 1153.9 people per square mile (445.52/kmē), giving it the 65th most densely populated census designated place among the Hawaii. There were 4681 housing units at an average density of 796.1 per square mile (307.38/kmē). The average household size was 2.58 persons, and the average family size was 3.2 persons. In the Napili-honokowai Cdp, 22.7% of the population was under the age of 18, 7.9% were 18 to 24, 40.6% were 25 to 44, 22.5% were 45 to 64, and 6.2% who were 65 or older.
