Napa County is a county located in the United States of California. The county has a population of 124279 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 133433, It is the 34th largest county by population in the U.S. state of California. The county spans an area of 788.27 mi˛ (2041.61 sq km), of which, 753.73 square miles (1952.15 sq km) of it is land and 34.53 square miles (89.43 sq km) of it is water, it is the eighth smallest by area in the U.S. state of California.

As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 133433, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 88.14% White, 2.03% Black or African American, 1% American Indian, 6.05% Asian, 0.34% Native Hawaiian, and 2.44% from two or more races.
