Mustang City is one of the city of Canadian County, Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 13156 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 17727, It is the 33rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. It covers total area of 12.03 miē (31.16 kmē), of which, 12.01 square miles (31.11 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 95th largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

As of the census of 2000, there were 13156 people, 4721 households, and 3799 families living in the city. The population density was 1095.9 people per square mile (423.13/kmē), making it the 149th most densely populated city in Oklahoma.
