Musselshell County is a county in the United States of Montana. In 2000, county's population was 4497 inhabitants. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 4498, It is 36th most populous county in Montana. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1870.91 miē (4845.63 kmē), of which, 1867.15 square miles (4835.9 kmē) of it is land and 3.76 square miles (9.74 kmē) of it is water, it is the 35th largest by area in the U.S. state of Montana.
