Murray County is a county located in the United States of Minnesota. The county has a population of 9165 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 8389, It is the 14th least populous county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The county encompasses an area of 719.52 square miles (1863.55 square kilometre ), of which, 704.43 square miles (1824.47 square kilometre) of it is land and 15.09 square miles (39.08 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 42nd largest in terms of geographical size.

For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97 males.
