Moweaqua Village is a city located in Shelby and Christian counties, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 1923 people (2000 census). It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 1821, It is the 510th largest by population in the U.S. state of Illinois. The city encompasses an area of 1.12 square miles (2.9 sq km), it is the 663rd largest in terms of geographical size.
