As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 331, making it the 95th least populous in Alabama. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.82 sq mi (2.12 kmē), of which, 0.81 square miles (2.1 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 44th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
