Mount Vernon City, Montgomery County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 2082 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2135, making it Georgia's 241st largest. The city spans an area of 4.12 sq mi (10.67 square kilometre), it is the 199th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
