Mount Shasta City is a city located in the Siskiyou County, California, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 3621 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 3531, making it California's 664th largest. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.74 sq mi (9.69 square kilometre ), makes it the 624th largest by total area in California.
