Mount Pleasant City is one of the city of Maury County, Tennessee, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Mount Pleasant City is home to 4491 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 4443 in July 2008, It is the 106th largest by population in the U.S. state of Tennessee. The city comprises an area of 11.07 sq mi (28.67 sq km), of which, 11.05 square miles (28.62 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, making it Tennessee's 76th largest by total area.
