Mount Hope City is one of the city of Sedgwick County, Kansas, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 830. The July 2008 population estimate is 857, It is 227th most populous in Kansas. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.03 mi˛ (2.67 square kilometre), of which, 1.02 square miles (2.64 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 179th largest by size in Kansas.
