Mount Dora City, Lake County, Florida is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 9418. The July 2008 population estimate is 12869, It is 283rd most populous in Florida. The city encompasses an area of 5.76 square miles (14.92 square kilometre ), of which, 4.92 square miles (12.74 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.84 square miles (2.18 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 295th largest by size in Florida.
