Mount Arlington Borough, Morris County, New Jersey is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 4663 people (2000 census). In July 2008, its estimated population was 5827, giving it the 299th largest population among New Jersey. The borough extends throughout a territory of 2.83 mi˛ (7.33 sq km ), of which, 2.11 square miles (5.46 sq km) of it is land and 0.72 square miles (1.86 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 211th largest by total area among New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4663 people, 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2207.1 people per square mile (852.17/km˛), it is 323rd most densely populated borough in New Jersey.
