Mount Airy Town is a town located in Carroll, Frederick, Howard and counties, Maryland, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. Mount Airy Town had an official population of 6425 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 8761, It is the 152nd largest by population in the U.S. state of Maryland. It has total area of 3.83 square miles (9.92 square kilometre), makes it the 164th largest by total area in Maryland.
