Moundville Town is one of the town of Hale and Tuscaloosa counties, Alabama, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The town has a population of 1809 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2597, It is the 208th most populous in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is spread over 3.99 miē (10.33 kmē), of which, 3.94 square miles (10.2 kmē ) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the 277th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
