Motley City is a one of the Morrison and Cass counties, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 585 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 639 in July 2008, It is the 453rd most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city comprises an area of 1.39 sq mi (3.6 sq km), of which, 1.32 square miles (3.42 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, making it the 398th largest by size in Minnesota.
