Moss Point City is a United States city located in the Jackson County, Mississippi, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 15851 as per the Census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 13951, It is Mississippi's 24th largest by population . The city spans an area of 26.77 mi˛ (69.33 square kilometre), of which, 25 square miles (64.75 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.77 square miles (4.58 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 15th largest by size in Mississippi. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in Mississippi.
