Morton City is one of the city of Scott County, Mississippi, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 3482. Its population was estimated at 3437 in July 2008, It is 83rd most populous in Mississippi. The city extends throughout a territory of 6.76 square miles (17.51 square kilometre ), of which, 6.72 square miles (17.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 90th largest in terms of geographical size.
