Morro Bay City is a one of the San Luis Obispo County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, the population was 10350. Its population was estimated at 10333 in July 2008, It is 437th most populous in California. The city comprises an area of 10.16 square miles (26.31 square kilometre), of which, 5.16 square miles (13.36 square kilometre) of it is land and 5 square miles (12.95 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 326th largest by size in California.
