Morrison County is one of the 87 county of Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 31712 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 32893 in July 2008, making it the 31st most populous county in Minnesota. The county spans an area of 1153.32 sq mi (2987.09 square kilometre), of which, 1124.5 square miles (2912.44 square kilometre) of it is land and 28.82 square miles (74.64 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 18th largest by total area in Minnesota.

As of July 2008, the estimated population was 32893, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 98.23% White, 0.34% Black or African American, 0.4% American Indian, 0.34% Asian, 0.04% Native Hawaiian, and 0.64% from two or more races.
