Morris County is a county in the United States of Kansas. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 6104 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 6037, It is Kansas's 59th most populous county. It is spread over 702.84 mi˛ (1820.35 square kilometre), of which, 697.38 square miles (1806.21 square kilometre ) of it is land and 5.46 square miles (14.14 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 70th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kansas.

In the county Age distribution was 25.2% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 23.9% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 21% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 103.1 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 107.1 females. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 6037, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 97.71% White, 0.58% Black or African American, 0.45% American Indian, 0.28% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 0.96% from two or more races.
