Morris City is a one of the Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Morris City had an official population of 1294 in 2000. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1309, making it Oklahoma's 188th largest. Its area is just over 1.16 square miles (3 sq km), of which, 1.1 square miles (2.85 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 349th largest by total area among Oklahoma.

The population density was 1174.3 people per square mile (453.4/kmē), it would be the 129th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. In the city the population is diverse age-wise, with 31% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to 24, 27.4% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 88.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 85.3 males. The median age of the city's population was 34.2 years, the median age of male residents at 31.9 and the median age of female residents at 35.9. The racial makeup of the city was 72.87% White, 0.7% Black or African American, 19.55% American Indian, 0.08% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, 6.49% from two or more races and 0.31% Other races.
