Its population was estimated at 4996 in July 2008, It is Minnesota's 126th largest by population . The city spans an area of 4.54 mi˛ (11.76 square kilometre), of which, 4.28 square miles (11.09 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 169th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
