Moroni City is a city located in Sanpete County, Utah, in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 1280 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1327, It is the 145th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 1.07 sq mi (2.77 kmē), making it the 52nd smallest by size in Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1280 people in the city, organized into 399 households, and 317 families living in the city. The population density was 1194.1 people per square mile (461.04/kmē), it is the 68th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Utah.
