Morning Sun City, Louisa County, Iowa is a city located in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 872. In July 2008, its estimated population was 843, giving it the 320th largest population among Iowa. The city comprises an area of 0.78 square miles (2.02 kmē), it is the 466th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
