It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 614, It is the 99th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is spread over 1.39 sq mi (3.6 kmē), of which, 1.18 square miles (3.06 kmē ) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 kmē) of it is water, making it Louisiana's 82nd smallest by total area.
