Morgan County is a county located in the United States of Utah. As per the 2000 census, county has a population of 7129 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 8669 in July 2008, It is Utah's eighth least populous county. It is spread over 610.79 sq mi (1581.94 sq km), of which, 609.13 square miles (1577.64 sq km ) of it is land and 1.66 square miles (4.3 sq km) of it is water, it is the smallest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 11.7 people per square mile (4.52/kmē), making its Utah's 11th most densely populated county. There were 2158 housing units at an average density of 3.5 per square mile (1.35/kmē). It has an average household size was 3.48 persons, and the average family size was 3.81 persons. In the county Population was distributed with 37.1% under the age of 18, 9.7% from 18 to 24, 24.3% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 8.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.7 males. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8669, The racial makeup of the county was 98.28% White, 0.07% Black or African American, 0.18% American Indian, 0.31% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, and 1.15% from two or more races.
