Moraine City is a city located in the Montgomery County, Ohio, United States. In 2000, city's population was 6897 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 6467, giving it the 229th largest population among Ohio. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.34 square miles (24.19 kmē), of which, 9.07 square miles (23.49 kmē) of it is land and 0.27 square miles (0.7 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 103rd largest by total area among Ohio.

The population density was 760.3 people per square mile (293.55/kmē), it is 211th least densely populated city in Ohio. The racial makeup of the city was 6175 White, 430 Black or African American, 30 American Indian, 138 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 89 from two or more races and 35 Ohter races.
