Moosic Borough is one of the borough of Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 5575. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 5758, making it the 247th most populous in Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 6.52 miē (16.89 kmē), of which, 6.46 square miles (16.73 kmē) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 kmē) of it is water, making it Pennsylvania's 74th largest by total area.

The population density was 863.4 people per square mile (333.36/kmē), it is Pennsylvania's 393rd least densely populated borough.
