As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 1049, It is 137th least populous in Florida. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.78 mi˛ (4.61 sq km), of which, 1.57 square miles (4.07 sq km) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 sq km) of it is water, making it the 253rd smallest by size in Florida.
