Montpelier City is a United States city located in the Bear Lake County, Idaho, United States. In 2000, city's population was 2785 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2356, It is the 47th largest by population in the U.S. state of Idaho. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.84 sq mi (4.77 square kilometre ), it is the 56th largest by area in the U.S. state of Idaho.
