Monroe City is a city located in the Sevier County, Utah, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1845 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1853, It is the 124th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.54 miē (9.17 kmē ), it is the 164th largest by area in the U.S. state of Utah.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1845 residents, 636 households, and 512 families in the city.
