Monmouth Beach Borough is one of the borough of Monmouth County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 3595 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 3570, It is 165th least populous in New Jersey. The borough encompasses an area of 1.92 square miles (4.97 sq km ), of which, 1.07 square miles (2.77 sq km) of it is land and 0.85 square miles (2.2 sq km) of it is water, it is the 301st largest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3595 residents, 457 households, and 284 families in the borough. The population density was 3354.4 people per square mile (1295.14/kmē), making its New Jersey's 212th most densely populated borough. There were 1969 housing units at an average density of 1840.2 per square mile (710.51/kmē). The average household size was 2.2 people, and the average family size was 2.89 people. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 20.3% under the age of 18, 3.5% from 18 to 24, 27% from 25 to 44, 28.9% from 45 to 64, and 20.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 88.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.8 males. The median age was 44.6 years, the median age of male residents at 44 and the median age of female residents at 45.3. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 3511 White, 19 Black or African American, American Indian, 31 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 22 from two or more races and 12 Ohter races.
