Moline City is a city located in Rock Island County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 43768 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 43088, It is Illinois's 31st largest by population . The city extends throughout a territory of 15.82 sq mi (40.97 kmē ), of which, 15.6 square miles (40.4 kmē) of it is land and 0.22 square miles (0.57 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 29th largest by total area among Illinois.
