Miramar City, Florida is a city of the Broward County, Florida, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 72739 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 108484, making it the 27th most populous in Florida. Its area is just over 31 square miles (80.29 square kilometre), of which, 29.5 square miles (76.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.5 square miles (3.88 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 42nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.

As of the census of 2000, there were 72739 residents, 23058 households, and 18663 families in the city. The population density was 2465.8 people per square mile (952.05/kmē), making its Florida's 319th most densely populated city.
