Minnetrista City is one of the city of Hennepin County, Minnesota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 4358 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 5960, It is Minnesota's 139th largest by population . It covers total area of 30.83 mi˛ (79.85 sq km), of which, 26.11 square miles (67.62 sq km) of it is land and 4.72 square miles (12.22 sq km) of it is water, it is the 41st largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It is ranks 16 in the size of its inland waterways in Minnesota.

The population density was 166.9 people per square mile (64.44/km˛), it is the 152nd least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
