Minneapolis City is a United States city located in the Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 382618 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 382605, It is the largest in terms of population. Its area is just over 58.4 square miles (151.26 sq km), of which, 54.89 square miles (142.16 sq km) of it is land and 3.51 square miles (9.09 sq km) of it is water, making it Minnesota's fourth largest by total area. It is ranks 20 in the size of its inland waterways in Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 382618 people, 162352 households, and 73939 families residing in the city.
