Minidoka County is a county in the United States of Idaho. The county has a population of 20174 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 18645, making it the 18th most populous county in Idaho. The county spans an area of 762.98 square miles (1976.11 sq km), of which, 759.62 square miles (1967.41 sq km) of it is land and 3.36 square miles (8.7 sq km) of it is water, giving it the tenth smallest by total area among Idaho's county.

As of the census of 2000, there were 20174 people in the county, organized into 6973 households, and 5360 families living in the county. The population density was 26.6 people per square mile (10.27/kmē), it is 13th most densely populated county in Idaho. There were 7498 housing units at an average density of 9.9 per square mile (3.82/kmē). The average household size was 2.87 people, and the average family size was 3.32 people. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 31.6% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 25.2% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 13.2% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 99.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.8 males. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 18645, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 17962 White, 80 Black or African American, 258 American Indian, 112 Asian, 6 Native Hawaiian, and 227 from two or more races.
