Mineral County, Colorado is a county located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 831 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 962, It is the second smallest in terms of population. It is spread over 877.7 miē (2273.23 kmē), of which, 875.72 square miles (2268.1 kmē ) of it is land and 1.99 square miles (5.15 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 18th smallest by total area in Colorado.
