Mineola City is one of the city of Wood County, Texas, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 4550. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 5179, It is 367th most populous in Texas. The city encompasses an area of 5.34 square miles (13.83 sq km ), of which, 5.29 square miles (13.7 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, it is the 396th largest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.
