Minden City is one of the city of Webster Parish, Louisiana, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 13027 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 12962, It is the 36th most populous in the U.S. state of Louisiana. Its area is just over 11.98 mi˛ (31.03 square kilometre), of which, 11.89 square miles (30.79 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 40th largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

As of the census of 2000, there were 13027 people in the city, organized into 400 households, and 290 families living in the city. The population density was 1095.2 people per square mile (422.86/km˛), it is 132nd most densely populated city in Louisiana. There were 5795 housing units at an average density of 487.4 per square mile (188.19/km˛). The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 3.05.
